If it doesn't work out, or my circumstances change how much notice do I have to give to cancel the contract?
You have a one month cancellation clause which you can invoke at any time. This notice must be a written cancellation notice and must be sent to ineedtopark.co.uk.
How do I pay?
Monthly rental fees will be automatically debited to the credit or debit card used when you apply and pay for the space.
How will you know if it is me who is parking in the space?
We issue all tenants with parking permits which we ask you to clearly display in your windscreen to ensure the correct person is parking in the space. At the beginning of the contract we will also request your vehicle registration number for easy identification.

LANDLORD
Who decides what the monthly rental income will be?
Our commission is a percentage of the rental income we achieve for you therefore when we market your space, we are incentivised to achieve as high a fee as possible. We are, however, aware of the likely appropriate rates in your area and will guide you towards a rental fee we think is likely to attract business. In all circumstances, you are asked to agree to this figure before any contract is made with a tenant as the decision is ultimately yours.
How much commission does ineedtopark.co.uk charge?
We charge 15% (plus VAT) of the gross monthly rental fee. In addition, for the first month only we charge an additional £25 (+ VAT) administration fee.
If it doesn't work out, or my circumstances change, how much notice do I have to give to cancel the contract?
You have a one month cancellation clause which you can invoke at any time. This notice must be a written cancellation notice and must be sent to ineedtopark.co.uk.
Do I have to pay tax on this extra income?
We are aware of certain tax breaks associated with rental income procured through lettings however you will need to speak with your accountant about whether your ineedtopark.co.uk rental qualifies.
What measures are in place to protect me from any risks associated in renting out a space?
The terms and conditions of the contract provided to customers have are legally binding. For example; a) The tenants contract states that he/she leaves their vehicle at their own risk (as per a normal car park), b) The tenant is held liable for any damage they may cause to your property and c) We ensure that the tenant signs that they hold a valid third party motor insurance certificate — so that they have the funds available in the unlikely event of (b).
Can I have an invoice please?
Please e-mail info@ineedtopark.co.uk and our customer service team will be able to provide your invoices.
What if as a one off, I need the space to be free e.g. taking delivery of large goods?
You will have the tenant's contact details for you to discuss your requirements with them directly if this is required. In most cases we find that the landlord simply offers to pay the local 'Pay & Display' charges as an alternative for the day or two they require the space to be free.
What happens if the tenant doesn't pay and continues to park in my space?
It is ineedtopark.co.uk and their managing agent's responsibility to collect the money from the tenant and pay you the landlord. In the event of non-payment, the tenant will be immediately issued with a cancellation notice with you the landlord being advised of the situation. If in the unlikely event that the tenant continues to park in your space this will be an illegal act and we will assist you in taking further action i.e. notifying local police authorities or directly you to local wheel clamp operators.
